I’m looking for a penpal from Taiwan who could write postal mails in English at least once every 4 months. This person can be a Taiwanese or a foreigner living in Taiwan. You could write to me even if you are not from Taiwan. I suggest we email each other first to see whether we could click.
If you are also looking for long-term penpals, I’d like to let you know I kept in touch with one penpal for 26 years, and another four penpals for about 12 years. So if you are looking for a long-term penpal, rest assured I’d like to keep in touch with you.
I used to think the age of my pen pal matters. However, I have one pen pal who is 20 years older than me, and a pen pal who is 8 years younger than me, all of whom keep in touch with me for more than a decade. So I think I could accept anyone born between 1960 to 1990 (inclusive).

• Preferably in the teaching or medical profession because I notice I’ve very long friendships with people from these professions
• Who is willing to share about their lives and culture in their countries, travel stories within their countries or outside of their countries, through sharing photographs or videos. I will do the same too. Occasional swaps are welcome too.
• Who will tell me about themselves and what they like to talk about because I will like to forge a genuine, platonic friendship beyond borders.
• Are not soliciting for employment opportunities through me or with me

I have many hobbies! I enjoy travelling, Chinese calligraphy, making cosmetic jewelry making (non-metal), digital artwork, postcrossing, exchanging letters with penpals, dressmaking, photo-taking, creating and watching Youtube videos, and jogging. Recently, I am into collecting information on restaurants with ratings over 4.0 using Google Maps! So I would appreciate if you could let me know where to eat in your country.
